Welcome to HebrweOnline Blog.
My name is Shira and I teach Hebrew with HebrewOnline. I find that learning Hebrew with Israeli teachers like me makes the learning experience more authentic and interesting. Learning in small virtual classes gives the students an opportunity to speak, ask questions, practice and thoroughly understand, read, and speak the language. All lessons are recorded and my students often watch the recorded lessons to enhance and maximize their understanding of each lesson, or simply to catch up when they miss a class. It is unbelievable for me to watch the intensity of the learning and the progress my students make in very short period of time.
Some of my students visit Israel during or after their studies. They tell me how satisfied they were to find that they were actually able to understand Hebrew on their visits, read signs and directions, and speak the language – this is the outcome of our HebrewOnline courses, and this is my reward!
I invite you all to learn more about HebrewOnline and our products on www.HebrewOnline.com.
My students often want to expand their learning, to learn more about Israel, to learn popular words and phrases, to learn about the holidays and the Israeli culture. Therefore, we decided to give you a complementary experience with this Blog.
In this Blog, I will share with you the flavors of the Israeli culture, teach new words, listen to Israeli songs, travel in our beautiful country, “taste” Israeli food, and meet Israeli people.
Please, join me, my family and my friends and learn more Hebrew with us.

25|Apr|2008 1Shira,
I loved this! You did a lot of work. I think it’s so interesting to hear about your seder. We also had one with Israeli friends in Florida. I WISH I knew all the songs in Hebrew! Would it be possible to transliterate some?
I will keep track of places you visit, so I can go there as well.
Can we (students/anyone) submit things - like about my trip(s) to Israel?
Thank you for this.
Fondly,
Judy
